What began in 1995 as a small bar in Baltimore has grown into a string of family restaurants, best known for their distinctive nautical décor and fresh local seafood. Ropewalk Chincoteague is the newest addition to the tri-state chain, which also has locations in Maryland and Delaware.
Formerly known as The Jackspot, Ropewalk Chincoteague rests on the edge of the Chincoteague Bay, making it the only restaurant on the island with extraordinary sunset views. Its waterfront dining, outdoor island area and sprawling bar make it the perfect spot for locals and travelers, alike, who want to experience that “on vacation” feeling all year long.
Enjoy lunch in the casual, relaxing island environment of the colorful indoor dining area overlooking the bay, or nosh on fresh local seafood and enticing entrées under the shade of palm trees on Ropewalk’s family-friendly “tiki beach.”
Located just steps from the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Ropewalk Chincoteague also offers private event space with a breathtaking view of the bay. Boat docking is also available for patrons.
