Hampton Lodge Waterfront Campground to Host Ribbon Cutting

Coinjock, NC (May 7, 2018) — Hampton Lodge Waterfront Campground will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 11, 2018 to celebrate its new ownership and plans for the future.

Open to media and the public, the event will run 4:00-8:30 p.m. and include:

• An official “big scissor-big ribbon” ribbon cutting by representatives from Blue Water Development (BWD), which recently acquired the property, and local dignitaries. • The unveiling of Blue Water’s official mascot, Burbage the Bear. • Remarks from Patricia Ilczuk-Lavanceau, the Campground’s General Manager and CEO, on Blue Water’s future plans for the property. • A surprise dedication of a new campground feature. • A surprise announcement of a local philanthropic program. • Tours of the campground including its improved playground, bath houses, camp store, and soon-to-be renovated recreation center. • Roasted pig, sides, desserts, and beverages.
